Stipend for Disabled Students

Under this scheme stipend is given to disabled students studying in government schools and colleges. The rate of stipend is different for different classes of students. Merit Scholarship for Students studying in Class 8

The Scholarship is given for studies for class VIII, class IX, class X. A state level competitive exam is held for selection of students for this scholarship and ten students from each block is selected. Out of this ten students two must be from Schedule Tribe catregory and two must be girls. Students studying in class VII and getting three top positions in their schools can appear in the examination. Vocational Training Scheme for Paharia Primitive Tribe

Keeping in view the extremely low life standards of Paharia Primitive Tribe the government of Jharkhand has started vocational training program for them. The department of Welfare in collaboration with semi government organizations and voluntary organizations is carrying out job oriented training programs to promote employment / self employment. Under this program they are trained freely in different streams such as computer, manufacturing of Lac based articles, T.V. and electrical repairing, motor pump mechanic etc.

The candidate should be a member of Paharia Priitive Tribe.

Free Education to Girls

Commercial Pilot Training Scheme

The welfare department has started giving free professional pilot training to 25 students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe. There is a condition attached for the beneficiaries of this plan, under which, after attaining the training and getting a job he will have to bear the cost of education upto Graduation level from class-V of two Tribal Students from their village or locality as selected by the Welfare Department.

According to this plan students are selected on the basis of written / physical test conducted after they apply for the same on the basis of the advertisement published in various newspapers. There after they are sent for training to two flying training institutes at Kanpur & Pondichery.
