Sports Talent ScholarshipTo encourage the budding sports talents, the State Government have decided to give financial assistance in shape of scholarships to the students both at the School and College for their diet, playing kits and standard equipment. Junior Merit ScholarshipThose students who have received 60% or more marks and have taken admission in +2 1st year during Govt. / recognized Non-Govt. College of the state can apply. THis scholarship will be awarded foe a period of two years @ Rs 40/- per month. Renewal of the scholarship for the 2nd year is subject to satisfactory performance and good conduct of the awardee during 1st year. Junior Merit-cum-Poverty ScholarshipStudents should have passed in the 10th standard examination, securing 50% or more marks and have taken admission in +2 1st year in any Govt. / recognized Non-Govt. college of the State are eligible for this scholarship. The annual income of parents from all sources should not exceed Rs 24,000/-. This scholarship shall be awarded for a period of two years @ 40/- per month. Senior Merit Scholarship SchemeStudents should have passed +2 Exam conducted by CHSE, Orissa / CBSE / ICSE and have secured 60% or more marks and have taken admission in +3 1st year during 2009 in any Govt. / recognized Non-Govt. College of the State. There is no income ceiling of parents for award of this scholarship. This scholarship shall be awarded for a period of three years @ Rs 50/- per month. Senior Merit-cum-Poverty ScholarshipStudents should have passed +2 Annual Exam., 2009 conducted by CHSe, Orissa securing 50% or more marks and have taken admission in +3 1st year in a Govt. / recognized Non-Govt. College of the State are eligible to apply for award of this scholarship. The annual income of parents from all sources shall not exceed Rs 24,000/-. This scholarship will be awarded for a period of 3 yrs @ Rs 50/- per month. College of the State, secured 60% or more marks and have taken admission in 1st year M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com during 2009 in any Autonomous College / University of the State. Students continuing PG courses in OUAT can also apply for this scholarship. However, students pursuing PG course in other professional courses are not eligible for award under this scheme. There is no income ceiling of parents for award of this scholarship. This scholarship shall be awarded for a period of two years @Rs. 60/- per month. PG Merit-cum Poverty ScholarshipStudents should have passed +3 Annual Exam. during 2009 with Honours / and have secured 50% or more marks & have taken admission in PG course in the subject which he / she had taken as honours at undergraduate stage. The annual income of parents shall not exceed Rs. 24,000/-. This scholarship will be awarded for a period of two years @ Rs. 60/- per month. The renewal for the 2nd year is subject to satisfactory performance and good conduct of the awardee and submission of renewal proposal. Scholarship to Meritorious Girl Students Prosecuting Technical / Professional / Management StudiesThis scholarship will be awarded to meritorious girl students who are the permanent residents of Orissa and have passed the qualifying examination from an Educational Institution located within the state of Orissa and have secured admission in the specified Institution of Higher Technical / Professional / Management studies, given herein after, provided that their parental income (income of both father and mother) does not exceed Rs 1,50,000/- from all sources in the year preceeding the year of admission). This scholarship is awarded at the rate of Rs 1,000/- only per month for the entire duration of the course. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to Students Prosecuting Degree Level Course in Engineering / Medical / Dental SciencesThis Scholarship will be awarded to meritorious students of Orissa who have secured admission in Technical / Medical Institutions inside or outside the State or in a Institute of National repute.
