MY PARLIAMENT

MY Parliament is a civic engagement platform established for the youth to enter governance and public policy space with an objective of strengthening participatory democracy. We foster an environment for active participation of youth in democracy and their service to the nation by creating awareness about policies that govern our country. We aim to enable youth to question, deliberate and understand the mechanism of policy making and the ways in which substantial changes can be brought about. Since last three years of its inception we have successfully engaged more than 15,000 youths across the country, through Fellowship programs, Simulations and Confluences at premier institutes.

INDIA FELLOW

As a young person today, there is a lot of passion to bring about change,  but lesser avenues to do so. There is a need for spaces where the youth can engage with social change and development. The India Fellow Program had been designed for such passionate young individuals,  taking them through an immersive and reflective 13 month long leadership journey that sets them on the path to be socially conscious leaders of tomorrow, and thus bringing about positive change in our society. In this way, the India Fellow is an experiential social leadership program for young Indians that include working full time for a year with a field partner organization (called host organization) on a specific project or issue together with training, peer learning and mentoring. This experience will empower India Fellows to find their own leadership potential, shape their futures and make a difference.
